Prayer Scripture 03-31-2013

Matthew 28:5-7, Amplified Bible

But the angel said to the women, Do not be alarmed and frightened, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, Who was crucified.  He is not here; He has risen, as He said [He would do].  Come, see the place where He lay.  Then go quickly and tell His disciples, He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him.  Behold, I have told you.

He Is Risen!

March 31 is Easter Sunday.  HE IS RISEN!  HE IS RISEN INDEED!

My prayer for you today is that the resurrection power of God will raise you from the dead situations in which life has you bound.  This can be your prayer as well.  We are going to talk about resurrection power today and this week, an appropriate day to do so.

Jesus rose from the dead so that we could be free as we walk on this earth, walking with healthy bodies (even though satan sends sickness our way); living in prosperity (even though satan sends lack our way); living in the fullness of the Lord’s provision of life and peace and joy (even though earthly circumstances try to pull us down).  Our Lord’s greatest joy is to see His children walking in the whole, complete, sound life He purchased for them.

In Romans 8:11 we read that the same Holy Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in us and quickens or makes alive or gives life to our mortal bodies (our bodies here on this earth).  I love this verse.  It is my promise that while I am here on this earth carrying out my assignment, the Holy Spirit will be giving life to my body.  He is breathing His life into every cell of my body 24/7.  I receive that life 24/7.  My cells are receptors of the life and light and love of God.  They love to give Him pleasure by being living, vibrant cells.  All other cells have to leave my body.  They are not welcome.  That is resurrection power.

Let’s look at a very powerful set of verses in Ephesians 1:17-23, 2:1-10.  Now this is a powerful prayer you can pray every day.  In fact, I and many others do just that.

I pray to the God of my Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant me a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, by having the eyes of my heart or understanding flooded with light so that I can know and understand the hope to which He has called me and how rich is my glorious inheritance and what is the immeasurable and unlimited greatness of His power (THIS IS RESURRECTION POWER!) in and for me who believes, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and dominion and every name that is named not only in this age and world but in the one to come.  He has put all things under the feet of Jesus Christ, made Him the supreme Head.  We are His body (PART OF HIS RESURRECTED BODY) the fullness of Him Who fills all in all and in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete and fills everything everywhere with Himself.

In order to satisfy His great and wonderful and intense love, God has raised us up together with Jesus, made us sit down together with Him, and made us alive in Jesus so that He could demonstrate His kindness and goodness and the riches of His grace.  Because of His grace, we are His workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus, that we may do those good works which God predestined or planned beforehand for us, taking paths which he prepared ahead of time, that we should walk in them, living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live.

Wow!  Jesus came that we may have and enjoy life, have it in abundance, to the full, until it overflows (John 10:10b).  If your life is not at this place, start speaking it into existence.  It is yours for the asking.  This life of Jesus’ fullness is only a prayer away from the heartbeat of God.  His heart beats with the joy of watching His children become the recipients of all that He has provided for them.

Ephesians 1:3,6; 2 Peter 1:3

You who are accepted in the Beloved, you are blessed by God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, for His divine power (His resurrection power demonstrated in us) has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.

Healing Confession 03-31-2013

I receive the healing that You, Jesus, have purchased for me at the whipping post where You were wounded for my transgressions.  You were bruised for my iniquities.  You were chastised for me to obtain peace and well-being.  With those stripes that wounded You, I have been healed and made whole.  Thank You!  Thank You!

Healing Teaching 03-31-2013

March 31 is Easter Sunday.  May every person reading this healing teaching this week remember what happened from the cross of Jesus Christ to His ascension to the throne of God.  He suffered untold agonies for us, so that we could have the freedom to be whole in every area of our lives.

First, in the Garden of Gethsemane He wrestled with His will to go to the cross.  He surrendered everything to His Father and trusted completely in His Father.

At the whipping post He took the stripes on His back that healed you and me.  About six months ago, I was in prayer and saw a picture of the Lord at the whipping post.  He turned around and looked at me as the whip came down on His back.  I will never forget the look of love in His eyes that spoke to me as if He had opened His mouth and uttered these words:  “I do this for you.”  I continue to see that picture.  How could I possibly ignore what He did for me!  Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17 and 1 Peter 2:24 tell us that with the stripes that wounded Jesus, with those wounds, we are healed and made whole.  Think on that until it becomes bigger in you than the sickness that satan is trying to attach to your healthy body.

The soldiers mocked and beat on Jesus, mercilessly rammed that crown of big spiky thorns on His head, put a purple robe on Him, placed a reed in His hands and bowed down to Him in jest.  Then they ripped that robe off His back, peeling off what little skin was left on His back.  Oh, the agony He must have endured.  I cannot comprehend it.  It is too much for me to take in.

And then the most cruel treatment of all—-THE CROSS.  Crucifixion was the most brutal form of death the Romans could inflict on a human being.  It was cruel, unfeeling, with no mercy.  These Roman soldiers had carried out this form of death so many times, they were immune to the pain of those who hung on the cross.  The spikes were driven into Jesus’ hands and feet.  He hung there, trying to get breath as His chest caved in and the supply of oxygen was becoming less and less.  What a cruel death our Lord endured for us.

What did this death of Jesus really mean?  It was not just a horrible physical death carried out at the whim of the Pharisees and the soldiers and Herod and Pontius Pilate.  It was the will of God that Jesus suffer this death, which was the fulfillment of God’s dream to take back the authority that man had given to satan and made him the god of this earth.  He is a ruthless taskmaster, enslaving all of mankind in the slave market of the world, exacting cruel payment to purchase you and me.  Jesus paid the price of release for each one of us with the shedding of His blood.  Without the shedding of blood there is no remission for sin, no release from sin and all its consequences.  My Lord, what a blessing we have because of Jesus being willing to take our place and take the penalty of punishment due to us.  Because of His death, you are free and you can live a good life.

Isaiah 53:4,5,10a

Surely he has borne our griefs (sicknesses) and carried our sorrows (pains); yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:  the chastisement needful to obtain peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes that wounded Him we are healed and made whole.

Yet it was the will of the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief and made Him sick.

1 Peter 2:24

He personally bore our sins in His own body on the tree as on an altar and offered Himself on it, that we might die, cease to exist, to sin and live to righteousness.  By His wounds you have been healed.

Jesus was wounded that you might be healed!

Healing Scripture 03-31-2013

Isaiah 53:4

Surely he has borne our griefs (sicknesses) and carried our sorrows (pains); yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.    …and with the stripes that wounded Him we are healed and made whole.

Words of Wisdom 03-31-2013

HE IS RISEN!

Thought of Wisdom 03-31-2013

HE IS RISEN!  HE IS RISEN INDEED!

There was a great earthquake, and an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.  The angel said to the women:  “Fear not; for I know that you seek Jesus, Who was crucified.  He is not here; for HE IS RISEN, as He said.  Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you shall see Him; lo, I have told you.”

Up From The Grave He Arose, The Resurrection of Jesus

Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24:1-53; John 20:1-31, 221:1-25

When the Sabbath was past, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the sepulcher.  They had brought sweet spices that they might anoint Him.  They said among themselves:  “Who shall roll away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?’  There was a great earthquake, and an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

They departed quickly with fear and great joy and ran to bring His disciples word of His resurrection.  As they went, Jesus met them, saying, “All Hail.”  They came and worshipped Him.  Then He said to them:  “Don’t be afraid; go tell my brethren to go into Galilee, and there they will see Me.”

Some of the guards who saw all these things, went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had occurred.  The priests gave money to the soldiers and told them to say that His disciples came by night and stole Him away while the soldiers slept.

When Jesus had risen, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene.  When she went to tell the disciples that He was alive, they did not believe her.  He also appeared to two others, as they walked, and went into the country.  When they told the others, neither did they believe.

Afterward, when Jesus appeared to the eleven as they sat at meat, He reproved them for their unbelief and their hardness of heart because they had refused to believe those who had seen Him after he had risen.

The 11 disciples went into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.  When they saw Him, they worshipped Him, but some doubted.  Jesus approached them, breaking the silence and said to them:  “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.  Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have told you.  Behold, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

Later, Jesus ate with His disciples and said to them:  “Thus it is written that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead.  And that repentance and remission or forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.  You are witnesses of these things.  And, behold, I will send forth upon you the promise of My Father, but remain in Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”

Then Jesus led His disciples out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them.  And it came to pass that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven.  And they, worshipping Him, went back to Jerusalem with great joy, and were continually in the temple celebrating with praises and blessing and extolling God.  Amen, So be it!

HE IS NOT HERE!  HE IS RISEN!  FOR GOD SO LOVED THAT HE GAVE——-!

Go into all the world and tell them how much Jesus loves them.  His love is unconditional, unfailing, never ending!  Once you have experienced His love for you, you will never be the same again.  His love marks you for life!  He will do anything for you.  In fact, he already has.
