There is a canopy of protection over me as God’s child.  I dwell in Him.  He dwells in me.  I remain fixed on Him.  Because I am in Him, no foe can withstand me.  I am hidden in Him.

The goodness of God leads us to change our minds about Him.  His goodness is His kindness and love toward us.  He is always disposed to show good to us.  We receive His goodness and compassion and mercy for us.

Let us magnify (increase, enlarge, make greater) the Lord in our lives continually.  His praise shall continually be in our mouths.  Our lips shall make Him great and elevate Him to a place of greatness where we are concerned.  Let God be magnified, Who takes pleasure in our prosperity.

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good all the time.  His love and mercy endure forever for us.  He is on our side and wants the best for us always.  He does everything He can to lead us to green pastures in our lives

As we continue in God’s Word, we shall know the Truth and the Truth will set us free.  When we hear things that are contrary to God’s Word, if we know His Word, we know that in comparison to His Word, they are lies.  God’s Word is Truth.

God’s Word brings understanding.  It gives us wisdom concerning the ways of the Lord.  When we lack wisdom in a situation which arises in our life, we must go to the Word of God and ask Him for wisdom.  He will give it to us.

God’s Word is Light.  It gives understanding and discernment to everyone.  God’s Word opens our eyes to see the Truth.  His Word guides us in the dark places of our life.  He leads us out to a safe place

What is truth?  In the Bible it says that The Word of God is Truth, and Jesus is called the Word of God.  He is the Truth.  What we read in the Bible is The Truth.  It is the reality which is forever.  All truth comes from God.  He is the Source of all that is true.

We must be so focused on Jesus that nothing else matters, whether it is good, bad, or otherwise.  When we keep our minds stayed on Him, He is able to sustain us and keep us from giving up and giving in to our circumstances.  When times get tough and things are rough, there is only one Source of peace; that is JESUS!
