GOD SENT HIS WORD

HEALING SCRIPTURE

Psalm 107:20, KJV

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

HEALING TEACHING

God has sent us His word in several forms.  He has sent us Jesus, Who is called the Word.

John 1:1    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He has sent us His written Word, inspired by the Holy Spirit.  When we speak His Word, we are speaking forth His life on our behalf and that Word becomes what we speak, as we continue to declare the truth of that word on healing.  The Word of God must become more real to us than any other word we hear or read.  When it does become that real, things begin to change in our lives.

You see, whether we can comprehend it or not, God’s Word has life in it, His life, and it is the very substance of His Kingdom way of living.  When we live by His Word, we live the way He lives.  Healing is our right as His child.  He tells us here in this Psalm that He sent His Word.

What does God say His Word will do?  He says His word heals us and delivers us from our destructions.  This word for healing here means to cure, to make whole.  God’s Word heals us, makes us whole.

Then He says that His word delivers us.  What does it mean to be delivered?  You were in one place and you are moved to another place.  When FedEx delivers a package, that package comes from the store to you.  It is delivered.  Well, the same is true of God.  He delivers a package called His Word.  There are specific packages.  In this instance, we are talking about the package of healing.  The order has been placed with heaven for your package to be delivered.  You sign for it with your mouth, what you speak.  Speak healing, even in the middle of a raging disease and pain.  Keep on speaking healing.  If you can’t speak, get some CD’s and DVD’s and listen 24/7 to them.  It’s your life which is at stake.  Disease does not take a vacation.  Neither do we take a vacation from the determination that we are the victorious ones over sickness and disease through the power of God’s Word.

The word “destructions” in Psalm 107:20 means pitfall or a depressed place.  Isn’t that what sickness does to you?  It makes you feel depressed.  It depresses you into a pit and causes you to fall into destruction.  We have the answer now to the pitfall of a depressed place of sickness and disease.

Let’s start by speaking and thinking on this scripture all week.  Put it on a 3×5 card or pieces of paper all over the place—-in your bathroom on the mirror, on your refrigerator, in your purse or wallet or shirt pocket, in your car, on your cell phone, on your notepad, but most of all in your mouth and in your mind.

HEALING CONFESSION

I am healed.  God sent His Word and healed me.  I am delivered.  I am delivered from the destruction of sickness and disease.
