The Lord surrounds me with songs of deliverance and protection.
The Lord surrounds me with songs of deliverance and protection.
When trouble is all around, rejoice, because the Lord will surround you with His songs of deliverance and protection. Keep rejoicing and don’t stop! Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice! Release joy and love and life into every situation and every person around you. Watch God move on your behalf!
THE ESTABLISHED HEART, WHOLENESS, PART 3
It is God’s will for you to be whole in every area of your life—-spirit, soul (mind, will, emotions), body, socially, financially.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:23,24, Amplified Bible we read this:
And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]: and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah.
Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and he will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you].
God is a God of wholeness and soundness. He is dwelling in us with His wholeness and soundness. Our bodies are filled with Him and His health. What happens is that we are living in a world that is fragmented and unhealthy. All the time we are exposed to environmental changes that challenge us. We are exposed to negative words. Past family history and words of disease are spoken over us. If you watch television or listen to radio, you are bombarded with commercials for prescription drugs, flu shots, doctors’ advice, etc. This is the world’s system. It is negative and full of fear. The world tells you that you are going to die if you don’t do what they tell you to do. They tell you they have the answer and you better act quickly if you want to stay alive. All of it is fear based.
God is faith-based. His word tells us that He is our Healer. He will protect us. Believe Him and allow Him to keep us healthy. He is the God of wholeness and health.
He sanctifies us or separates us from things which are not pure. We are consecrated to Him. We are His, and He is responsible for keeping us. Part of that responsibility is divine health.
God preserves our spirit, soul and body. Today we are focusing on the body. He preserves us or guards us from loss or injury, keeping His eye upon us. He keeps us from destruction or decay. He defends us from evil, protects us, keeps us intact (complete and entirely whole or healthy), untouched by anything that harms or defiles us.
God keeps us sound and complete or free from flaw, healthy, not weak or diseased, strong, robust of body and mind, filled up with no part lacking.
God is steadfast to His Word; we can believe Him. He Who keeps us is calling us to health and healing; He is calling us to Himself, Who is Health. Do you hear His call? He is calling you: “Child of mine, come to me and receive your healing. I am here to make you whole and healthy. You are mine. I have paid the price for your healing. Take it. It belongs to you. It is yours. Don’t let anyone steal from you the health that I purchased for you forever.”
Develop confidence in God’s willingness to heal you. Know that He is a God of Truth. Know His Word is Truth and will work for you.
Walk in divine health.
Don’t you consider it absolutely awesome that God has provided a divine connection called prayer between you and Him to guide your expectancy through His Word and through His Holy Spirit! A Spirit-directed prayer, based on the Word of God, produces God’s expectancy and thus God’s results.
My heart is established in the wholeness of God for my body.
It is God’s will for me to be whole in every area of my life—-spirit, soul (mind, will, emotions), body, socially, financially.
Psalm 62:5
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
EXPECTANCY IN PRAYER
Have you ever heard someone say: You get what you expect! That statement is true. Our lives gravitate toward our expectations. We are now told by even scientists and physicians and psychologists that our physical bodies, our emotional responses, our very future or destiny can be determined to a large degree by what we think, which produces expectancy. What we think releases chemicals from our brain into our systems to direct our actions. Actions are a result of thinking.
Don’t you consider it absolutely awesome that God has provided a divine connection called prayer between you and Him to guide your expectancy through His Word and through His Holy Spirit. A Spirit-directed prayer, based on the Word of God, produces God’s expectancy and thus God’s results.
Once again, we must talk about the fact that we do have an enemy who does everything possible to steal our God-given expectancy for good. I am not being negative here. We must be aware of the expectancy stealer. Don’t let him steal your expectancy for Godly results when you pray. Never give up your expectancy. It is your lifeline to victory.
Honestly ask yourself the question today: What am I expecting when I pray? Am I expecting disappointment based on past history? Am I expecting God’s Word to work in my life? Evaluate your position. Perhaps you are one of those rare people who always expect the best. That is what our God designed us to do.
For most people expectancy of good Godly results has to be cultivated and nurtured to fullness. Life and its problems tend to rob us of the right kind of expectancy. Disappointment, discouragement, disillusionment creeps in and reduces us to people who merely pray because it is the one thing we are told to do. And we enter into that vicious cycle like a gerbil who goes round and round on that same wheel of prayer defeat time after time.
Today make a quality decision that regardless of what has happened in your past, this is a new day where you decide to expect the best for you and your loved ones. You expect results in prayer. You expect good. God is good and His mercy endures forever.
1 Thessalonians 5:24, Amplified Bible
Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you].
SHELTERED
We are sheltered in the secret place of the Most High God, Whose power no foe can withstand. In that secret place of His Presence, we rely on Him and lean on Him as our Stronghold and High Tower and Refuge from the wiles of the devil and schemes sent out against us. Psalm 91 is our protection. Today we are going to confess two other scriptures in the Psalms which are protection scriptures also. Make these your verses of meditation today.
Psalm 31:20
In the secret shelter of Your Presence You hide me from the plots of men; You keep me safe from those who would conspire against me; You keep me secretly sheltered in Your Pavilion, which is Your Presence. I am covered over, fenced in, protected, defended, hedged in, shut up from the strife of tongues. You shelter me from words that would be used to bind my life.
Psalm 32:7
You are a hiding place for me; You, Lord, preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance.
When trouble is all around, rejoice, because the Lord will surround you with His songs of deliverance and protection. Keep rejoicing and don’t stop! Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice! Release joy and love and life into every situation and every person around you. Watch God move on your behalf!
Every day we have a choice. Do we believe the world is overcoming us or are we allowing Jesus Who is in us to overcome the world for us? It is our choice. Jesus gave us a promise and a command. The promise —- I am in you and I have given you my personal peace. The command —- Stop allowing yourselves to be fearful, disturbed, unsettled, and frustrated.
