Thank You, Lord, that You have made me and saw my every cell before You ever created

Words of Wisdom 02-18-2013

Lord, You are my confidence.

Thought of Wisdom 02-18-2013

Lord, You are the One Who is my confidence.  You give me confidence.  I put my confidence in You.  You are immovable and strong and mighty.  That is the reason I can be strong and immovable.  I place my confidence in your strength, in your might.  That makes me immovable and steadfast and keeps me from fear.  You are in charge of my life.

The Lord Is My Confidence

Proverbs 3:26, Amplified Bible

For the Lord shall be your confidence, firm and strong, and shall keep your foot from being caught [in a trap or some hidden danger].

Personalized Confession

Lord, You are the One Who is my confidence.  You give me confidence.  I put my confidence in You.  You are immovable and strong and mighty.  That is the reason I can be strong and immovable.  I place my confidence in your strength, in your might.  That makes me immovable and steadfast and keeps me from fear.  You are in charge of my life.  You keep me from being trapped by satan.  You reveal to me any dangers that are hidden to me.  Everything that is hidden is revealed to me by the Holy Spirit.  Sweet Spirit of God, thank You for protecting me and keeping me.  I am so grateful and thankful to You for Your keeping power.  You are my confidence, firm and strong.

The Blood of Jesus

There have been volumes written on the blood of Jesus.  Here in this small space we have so little time to talk about His blood.  We are told in the scriptures that the life of the flesh is in the blood.  The eternal life of God is in the blood of Jesus.  When Jesus shed His blood on this earth, He spilled out the life of God all over the earth.  That blood is speaking loud and clear:  LIFE!  Jesus released the life of God on this earth.  That life is forever speaking the life of health and healing to us, to our physical bodies.

I remember that the “old-timers” pleaded the blood of Jesus over anyone and everything.  They would say:  I plead the blood of Jesus over you.  They had faith in the blood of Jesus to protect them, to deliver them, to heal them.  Whatever they needed, they believed the blood of Jesus would supply.  I still do that today.  I plead the blood of Jesus over me and my family.  The blood of Jesus stands between us and satan and all of his activity toward us.  I strongly believe in the ability of the blood of Jesus to take care of any situation that comes into my life or comes against me.

When the blood of Jesus was shed, it washed away forever the curse of sin in our lives.  His blood has cleansed us and cleared out of the way every bit of sin.  It is gone.  We must have confidence in the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood.  There is no sin for us.  It is gone forever.  Any time we sin, God looks at us through the blood of His Son and says:  I see you spotless.  At the moment we may not be spotless, but He sees us that way, through the blood of Jesus.  That is the way we have to see ourselves.  When we mess up, fess up and enjoy the benefits of being God’s child.

The greatest revelation we have today about the blood of Jesus is in communion.  In a sense, the first communion was the night of Passover when the blood of the sacrificial lamb was placed on the doorposts and lintels for the death angel to pass over them.  Jesus is our sacrificial Lamb whose blood is placed on the doorposts and lintels of our heart forever so that the death angel passes over us.

Jesus told us that this cup of the blessing is the new testament in His blood.  It is the communion of the blood of Christ (1 Corinthians 10:16).  This cup is the new covenant in His blood (1 Corinthians 11:25).  What did He mean here?  Every time we take communion, Jesus is telling us that by remembering His blood we are remembering that we are in a new covenant, a new partnership, where He has stripped away all that is ungodly and given us the fullness of His Kingdom.  We are privileged to partake of everything that He has.  One of those things that He has is healing and health.  It is ours now because He has shed His blood.  Every time we take communion, we must see our bodies being cleansed of all sickness and disease.  We are free to be healthy.  God Almighty has given us fellowship with His blood.  He has shed His blood for us.

We have redemption through the blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14).  We are redeemed from the curse of sickness and disease.  In other words, we have been delivered from the stigma of sickness and disease forever, by the blood of Jesus.  Sickness and disease cannot stick to us because we are constantly being cleansed by the blood of Jesus.  We must see that in our mind’s eye.  What we behold, we believe and become.  Let’s behold Jesus 24/7 and His shed blood for you and me.

But now in Christ Jesus we are made night, have come near to God, by His blood, for He is our peace, our wholeness, with nothing broken and nothing missing (Ephesians 2:13,14).  Health is no longer missing from our bodies.  We must believe it and walk in it!

Prayer Quote 02-17-2013

When is the last time you stood steadfastly on God’s Word for yourself?  So you have had disappointments and discouragements. We all have.  The difference between a successful prayer warrior and an unsuccessful one is persistence and consistency.  If there has been a failure, find out where it failed and keep on going, learning and succeeding as you go.

Have Faith In God

In Mark 11 Jesus taught His disciples and us the power of faith in God.  So much has been and is being taught on faith to the Body of Christ.  But at some point we have to move from teaching to believing and acting on what we believe.  We have been saturated with teaching.  It is time to get up and do what we have been taught.

Do you know what the word “doing” involves where faith is concerned?  It may involve a few failures as we move toward consistent success in our praying and doing.  We can only go as far in our doing as our knowing.  Do you know and believe that faith works for you?  Or do you leave it to your pastor?

When is the last time you stood steadfastly on God’s Word for yourself?  So you have had disappointments and discouragements. We all have.  The difference between a successful prayer warrior and an unsuccessful one is persistence and consistency.  If there has been a failure, find out where it failed and keep on going, learning and succeeding as you go.

If business people gave up when they failed, they would never have a successful business.  I am told that every successful millionaire (I guess we should jump it to billionaire in today’s world.) has declared bankruptcy maybe more than once.  The difference between the successful one and the one who failed was that the successful one did not give up but got up, dusted off his britches and got on that horse and rode again.  If the horse of life has thrown you a number of times, bucked and knocked you out of the saddle, get on that horse and ride again and again and again until you succeed.  Persistence is a good companion of a praying person.

Faith—-in the beginning of our walk of faith, we do not understand many things.  But we put into practice what we know and keep on growing.  We all know that faith comes by hearing the word of God.  What word are you hearing?  If you are listening to your television more than you are listening to the word of God preached and taught, you are listening to exactly what is producing your faith.  Most of the things on television today are very negative and doom and gloom oriented.  If that is what you are hearing, that is the faith you have.  It is a faith in the negative happening.  It will definitely affect the way you pray.

Take a television fast for a week or two and see what it does to your faith.  In the time slot you have previously allotted to television viewing, listen to ministers teaching the word of God in faith.  Watch what happens to your faith level in the Word of God and prayer.  It will grow greatly.  You will see Godly results.  Try it!  It does work!

The Lord’s Counsel

Psalm 32:7,8 Amplified Bible

You are a hiding place for me; You, Lord, preserve me from trouble, You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance.

I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

Psalm 33:11

The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

Personalized Confession:

Lord, You are my hiding place.  I rest in your secret place, the place of the Most High God.  I abide, I rest in you.  You preserve me from trouble.  When trouble comes, You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance.  I will bless You, Lord, and sing songs of praise to you and shout until the walls of trouble come down.  Yes, You deliver me.

Thank You, Lord, that you will instruct me and teach me in the way that I should go.  You will guide me in the path of life that I am supposed to take.  Your perfect will is done in my life.  You counsel me—-it is Your counsel that I hear and obey—-with your eye ever watching my footsteps.  You keep me in Your pathway that you have designed for me.  It is a pathway of peace and joy.  In You there is life forevermore.  Your counsel stands forever.  Your thoughts are ever toward me and my family forever.
