SETTLED<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The word \u201csettled\u201d is another word we use for the word \u201cestablish.\u201d\u00a0 They are both very strong words of stability.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here is what the word \u201csettled\u201d means:\u00a0 station, establish, make to stand, make to stand still or upright, best state.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In God\u2019s Word we see that the word \u201csettled\u201d is used mainly to relate to His Word and our faith.\u00a0 In Psalm 119:89<\/span><\/strong> we read that God\u2019s Word is forever settled.\u00a0 It is a forever truth.\u00a0 It is an unalterable truth forever.\u00a0 God\u2019s Word is stable and not subject to changing winds.\u00a0 We are to put no confidence in the world\u2019s words which are unstable, unsettled, subject to change, and in alignment with man\u2019s opinions.\u00a0 God\u2019s Word is eternal and aligned with God Who is the same yesterday, today and forever.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

When you are in trouble and when circumstances seem to overtake you, go to the Word of God.\u00a0 What does God have to say about it?\u00a0 When you find out, settle it forever in your heart that is the way it is going to be in your life.\u00a0 It starts with a decision that God\u2019s Word is true for you.\u00a0 1 Peter 1:25<\/span><\/strong> and Matthew 24:35<\/span><\/strong> tell us that the Word of God endures forever—-it will not pass away.\u00a0 When you are holding to God\u2019s Word, it isn\u2019t going anywhere.\u00a0 It is anchored in the Lord Himself, Who is the unchanging one.\u00a0 He said it; that settles it forever.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then we are told in Colossians 1:23<\/span> to continue in the faith, grounded and settled (steadfast) and be not moved away from (be not shifting from) the hope of the gospel.\u00a0 What is the hope of the gospel?\u00a0 It is the white-hot expectancy of the reality of the good news of the Kingdom of God.\u00a0 Jesus has won the battle and satan is defeated and stripped of His power.\u00a0 Jesus gave the power to us as the children of God.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Whatever our circumstances are at the present time, whether they are good or bad, Jesus has given us the power to overcome in this world.\u00a0 It may not always be pleasant to encounter tough times, but it is glorious to know that we have been given God\u2019s ability to overcome and be victorious.\u00a0 We must not back down from our trust in God.\u00a0 He is the One with the answers.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Settle it in your hearts today that Jesus is the One Who will carry you through to the other side.\u00a0 That is not just fancy talk.\u00a0 That is reality.\u00a0 I know because I have been there many times.\u00a0 It may not always seem like it will work this time, but it always does.\u00a0 The Word will work for you every time.\u00a0 You are a victorious child of God.<\/p>\n
