{"id":859,"date":"2012-10-24T01:00:25","date_gmt":"2012-10-24T07:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sandbox.subsilioconsulting.com\/wordpress\/?p=859"},"modified":"2012-10-04T17:06:18","modified_gmt":"2012-10-04T23:06:18","slug":"pearls-of-wisdom-10-24-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/2012\/10\/24\/pearls-of-wisdom-10-24-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"Pearls of Wisdom 10-24-2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"center\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ESTABLISHED, PART 2<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are still studying the word of God concerning being established.\u00a0 Let\u2019s look at one more scripture about the established heart.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Psalm 112: 7,8, Amplified Bible<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2026his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord.\u00a0 His heart is established and steady\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>What is an established heart?<\/p>\n<p>According to our definition of the word \u201cestablished,\u201d the established heart (spirit) is one which is fixed on the truth of God and Who He is.\u00a0 It is the heart that knows that God will take care of His children.\u00a0 Nothing alters what we believe about God and His Word.\u00a0 It is a permanent, settled subject as far as we are concerned.\u00a0 What is wavering, doubtful or weak has been settled.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>How do we get that way?\u00a0 How do we stand unflinching in the face of contradictory circumstances and problems that linger, in spite of prayer, in spite of confessing the word, in spite of all that we do?\u00a0 We stand in a stable place when we determine that God and His Word are true in our lives, regardless of what is happening or not happening to us or what appears to being taken care of or what does not appear to be taken care of.\u00a0 It is our determined purpose to believe that His grace (His ability and His love) is taking care of us.\u00a0 We can rest in Him and His finished work.\u00a0 We must believe and know that He has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.\u00a0 They are ours!\u00a0 No discussion about it.\u00a0 It is a settled subject.\u00a0 He alone is our rock and unchanging God.\u00a0 That is our unchanging decision.\u00a0 Our attitude is one of sticking to that decision when it is challenged time after time after time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You and I are established in many things in the earthly realm.\u00a0 Simple things are established, such as the belief that the sun is going to come up tomorrow and go down today.\u00a0 The sky is up over us.\u00a0 It will rain or snow at some point.\u00a0 We get hungry and thirsty.\u00a0 We breathe oxygen.\u00a0 Our car will start when we turn the ignition.\u00a0 The chair will hold us when we sit on it.\u00a0 The door will open when we put the key in it.\u00a0 These are established facts in our lives.\u00a0 They are something we are sure of.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But what about the established facts that are conditional?\u00a0 We still have certain earthly facts established in our minds, regardless of what happens.\u00a0 We believe we will have food to eat when we are hungry.\u00a0 We believe we will have water to drink when we are thirsty.\u00a0 We believe we will get up in the morning and have a good day.\u00a0 We believe we will go to work and come home.\u00a0 We believe we will have a paycheck when we work.\u00a0 These are all conditional facts, but we still expect these things to happen for us regardless of what someone may tell us or what we see.\u00a0 We still believe.\u00a0 How much more should we believe the unchanging God with His unchanging truth!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In God\u2019s realm, we must establish ourselves on His grace and His goodness much more so than the earthly facts that we have already established in our minds.\u00a0 They are practiced beliefs.\u00a0 Let\u2019s establish our belief system in the truth of God\u2019s Word of assurance to us.\u00a0 We must see God as the One Who takes care of all things for us.\u00a0 That is the definition of an established heart.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>MY HEART IS ESTABLISHED IN GOD AND HIS WORD.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ESTABLISHED, PART 2 &nbsp;
