{"id":2752,"date":"2013-04-12T01:00:12","date_gmt":"2013-04-12T05:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/?p=2752"},"modified":"2013-03-31T23:37:17","modified_gmt":"2013-04-01T03:37:17","slug":"pearls-of-wisdom-04-12-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/2013\/04\/12\/pearls-of-wisdom-04-12-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Pearls of Wisdom 04-12-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Two Keys To Victory<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the past several weeks during my Bible study and prayer time, I have seen two keys to victory in this Christian walk.\u00a0 Actually, they would apply to anyone.\u00a0 The greatest key is thankfulness, having a heart of gratitude and the other one is calling.<\/p>\n<p>Let me explain \u201ccalling.\u201d\u00a0 When we encounter a problem in our lives, we are not to focus on the problem and talk about it.\u00a0 Rather, we are to call to ourselves what we want.\u00a0 Are you sick?\u00a0 Don\u2019t discuss your ailments.\u00a0 Call yourself healthy and well.\u00a0 Do you lack money?\u00a0 Don\u2019t talk about how broke you are.\u00a0 Call yourself prosperous.\u00a0 Is your marriage failing?\u00a0 Don\u2019t talk about how bad things are to your best friend and berate your mate.\u00a0 Rather, call your marriage one that is a healthy one.\u00a0 Are your children out of the will of God?\u00a0 Don\u2019t discuss their failings and shortcomings with everyone.\u00a0 Call them saved, full of the Spirit of God and serving Him with fire and passion.\u00a0 Even in the natural, we call things which are not there.\u00a0 If you want to feed the dog, you call him and he comes running to be fed.\u00a0 Even so, if healing is not there, call it to you.\u00a0 It will come.\u00a0 It will materialize.\u00a0 The one thing we must not do, though, is to get frustrated, quit and say it does not work, when it does not materialize instantly.<\/p>\n<p>There is nothing like a heart of gratitude which focuses on the good things that you have.<\/p>\n<p>If all we do is gripe and complain about what we don\u2019t have, it opens the door for satan to come and steal even more from us.\u00a0 Complaining is deadly.\u00a0 It lost the Israelites their place of joy and brought death in the camp.\u00a0 Complaining is serious business.\u00a0 It will bring destruction to our lives.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My dear reader, there is power in our thoughts and in our words.\u00a0 Let\u2019s focus on the good and watch the bad disintegrate into dust that can be blown away in a moment of time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Romans 4:17<\/p>\n<p>(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, <i>even<\/i> God, who quickeneth (quicken means, brings life to) the dead, and CALLETH THOSE THINGS WHICH BE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE.<\/p>\n<p>1 Corinthians 15:57<\/p>\n<p>But thanks <i>be<\/i> to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<p>2 Corinthians 2:14<\/p>\n<p>Now thanks <i>be<\/i> unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.<\/p>\n<p>According to the two scriptures in Corinthians, do you see what thanksgiving does?\u00a0 Thanksgiving gives us the victory and causes us to triumph in Christ and makes manifest or visible the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of God (the way He operates His Kingdom) for us and others.\u00a0 Do you want victory in the situation in which you find yourself?\u00a0 Then start being thankful for what you have.\u00a0 It will open the door for God to move on your behalf and shut the door to satan\u2019s tricks and destruction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two Keys To Victory In the past several weeks during my Bible study and prayer time, I have seen two keys to victory in this Christian walk.\u00a0 Actually, they would apply to anyone.\u00a0 The greatest key is thankfulness, having a heart of gratitude and the other one is calling.
