Understanding Brings Confidence, Part 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

When we say the principal thing is Wisdom, we are saying in essence that the principal or main thing is Christ because He is the Wisdom of God.\u00a0 \u201cBut unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God\u201d (1 Corinthians 1:24).\u00a0 (Christ) \u201cin whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge\u201d (Colossians 2:4).<\/p>\n

But whoso hearkens to me [Wisdom] shall dwell securely and<\/i> in confident trust and shall be quiet, without fear or<\/i> dread of evil (Proverbs 1:33, Amplified Bible).<\/p>\n

We see here in Proverbs that when we listen to Wisdom (Christ) we will be confident in the Lord.\u00a0 We must daily ask the Holy Spirit of God to guide us with His Wisdom, the Wisdom of God.\u00a0 He guides us in what we read, what we say, where we go, and how we do things.\u00a0 He is our Guide and Teacher and Helper.\u00a0 It is His desire to give us what we have asked for.\u00a0 He desires to give us more than we desire to receive.<\/p>\n

But desire is not enough.\u00a0 It is a starting point, but we must go beyond that to faith and love and patience.\u00a0 Patience is consistently believing God is willing to perform His Word for us and not only willing to but WILL perform His Word for us.<\/p>\n

So what if it has been a long time.\u00a0 So what if His Word has not seemed to work in our lives.\u00a0 That does not change the effectiveness of His Word.\u00a0 His Word is still true for you and me.\u00a0 How many times I used to question God and tell Him that I did not understand and get so upset with Him and those around me who seemed to be getting their prayers answered.<\/p>\n

This is a word in due season for someone.\u00a0 Don\u2019t give up.\u00a0 Never give up.\u00a0 Always go forward.\u00a0 God is there for you.\u00a0 I know from experience that He will not fail you.\u00a0 Continue to trust Him, even when it looks like it is not doing any good.\u00a0 Trust Him.\u00a0 Believe Him.\u00a0 Have confidence in Him.<\/p>\n

Know God loves you unconditionally, no strings attached.\u00a0 Your dear Heavenly Father loves you.\u00a0 Decide to love Him and believe Him, if you never ever get one prayer answered.\u00a0 He is more important than one answered prayer.\u00a0 Your relationship with Him is vital to your sense of peace and well-being.\u00a0 All of us must come to the point where He is more important than anything we will ever receive from Him.\u00a0 When that happens, the receiving is easy.\u00a0 Love makes receiving easy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
