Hallowed Be Thy Name, Part 2<\/strong><\/p>\n

God is ADONAI.<\/p>\n

He is the Lord my Master.<\/p>\n

He is the Lord my Ruler.<\/p>\n

A master is one who rules, governs, or directs.\u00a0 He is the one who has supreme dominion or supreme authority to exercise as he determines is best for those whom he governs.\u00a0 He is the one in charge.\u00a0 As we know or should know, God does not rule with an iron fist.\u00a0 He directs us with love and compassion and mercy and grace.\u00a0 He never pushes.\u00a0 He waits to help us.\u00a0 We only have to call on Him and He is right there, available.\u00a0 He is in us and with us and for us and around us.<\/p>\n

God is with us in the person of the Holy Spirit, Whom Jesus said the Father would send to us in Jesus\u2019 name.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit is sent to be our Teacher, Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby (John 16:7 and John 14:26 Amplified Bible).\u00a0 This description of the Holy Spirit is a description of the kind of governing and ruling we have.\u00a0 He is gentle and kind, directing with firmness but never harshness.<\/p>\n

One always governs by what is inside them.\u00a0 Galatians 3:22,23 is a description of what the Holy Spirit is.\u00a0 He is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness or kindness, goodness, faith or faithfulness, meekness or gentleness and humility, and self-control.\u00a0 This is what the Holy Spirit is.<\/p>\n

The best description of God\u2019s rulership or governing for us as His children is illustrated in Psalm 23.\u00a0 He is our SHEPHERD to lead us and guide us and feed us and protect us.\u00a0 He refreshes us and restores our life.<\/p>\n

God is EL SHADDAI, THE ALMIGHTY GOD!<\/p>\n

El is singular for Elohim.<\/p>\n

Shaddai: \u00a0Sufficient or self-sufficient, Almighty, the One Who is mighty to nourish, satisfy and supply.<\/p>\n

El Shaddai:\u00a0 The God Who is all sufficient.\u00a0 The God Who is more than enough.\u00a0 The God of plenty.\u00a0 The abundant God.\u00a0 The bread provider.<\/p>\n

Genesis 17:1<\/p>\n

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before Me, and be though perfect.<\/p>\n

The name El Shaddai carries with it the understanding that God can handle any situation that confronts you.\u00a0 He has everything that is needed to overcome the circumstance in which you find yourself.\u00a0 Is it healing you need?\u00a0 He is the Healer.\u00a0 Is it a bill that needs paid?\u00a0 He is the Provider.\u00a0 Is it a child that is wayward?\u00a0 He is the Savior.\u00a0 He is all and He has all.\u00a0 There is nothing He doesn\u2019t have.\u00a0 He has got you covered.<\/p>\n

God is in control.\u00a0 He is all-powerful.\u00a0 He is all sufficient.\u00a0 He is the Sufficient One.\u00a0 He doesn\u2019t see obstacles or problems because He is the answer to those problems and the One Who has the power to remove obstacles.\u00a0 He is in control.\u00a0 His promises, His Word is bigger than any problem you will ever face.\u00a0 He is bigger!<\/p>\n

John 10:10b and Ephesians 3:20, KJV and Amplified Bible<\/p>\n

\u2026I am come that they (you) might have and enjoy life and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).\u00a0 God is able to do superabundantly above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams.<\/p>\n
