{"id":2685,"date":"2013-04-14T01:00:13","date_gmt":"2013-04-14T05:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/?p=2685"},"modified":"2013-03-31T17:55:35","modified_gmt":"2013-03-31T21:55:35","slug":"prayer-teaching-04-14-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/2013\/04\/14\/prayer-teaching-04-14-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Prayer Teaching 04-14-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Hallowed Be Thy Name, Part 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will spend quite a bit of time on God\u2019s names, because they reveal His nature, the essence of His being.\u00a0 As we study each name, pray and receive the benefits of that name for yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Hallowed means honored, consecrated or set apart as holy.\u00a0 It is interesting to note that in other languages the same words for hallowed are the words for sound, safe, whole, safety, happiness, entire, heal. \u00a0I notice also that the root words for holy are heal and whole.\u00a0 Don\u2019t these English words describe our Lord and what He makes available for us as His very own children!<\/p>\n<p>God is EL ELYON or JEHOVAH ELYON, LORD GOD MOST HIGH.<\/p>\n<p>El, strength, is singular for Elohim. \u00a0Elohim:\u00a0 Creator, Sustainer, Mighty object of worship.\u00a0 Eloheenu:\u00a0 Our God.\u00a0 Eloheka :\u00a0 Thy God.\u00a0 Elohay: My God.\u00a0 Elyon: Supreme God or most loved God.<\/p>\n<p>Genesis 14:19,20<\/p>\n<p>\u2026Blessed be Abram of the Most High God, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand\u2026.<\/p>\n<p>We serve a God Who is Ruler over everything.\u00a0 There is no one above Him.\u00a0 He is the supreme God, God above all rule and authority and principality and power and every name that can be named.\u00a0 He is the ultimate One to go to.\u00a0 There is none above Him.<\/p>\n<p>Ephesians 1:21, Amplified Bible<\/p>\n<p>(He is) Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.<\/p>\n<p>No wonder He can deliver us from our enemies.\u00a0 They are under His authority.\u00a0 Now here is something for you to chew on for a while.\u00a0 So, also, are our enemies under our feet as the Body of Christ.\u00a0 Jesus gave us all authority when He left this earth.\u00a0 He told us that all authority was given unto Him, both in heaven and on earth; go ye therefore (Matthew 28:18,19).\u00a0 That indicates to me that the implied understanding is that we can go in His authority.\u00a0 He even told His disciples while He was here on this earth that He had given them the power or authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (satan).\u00a0 And nothing shall by any means harm or hurt you. (Luke 10:19).<\/p>\n<p>God owns it all.\u00a0 He is the Creator of heaven and earth and all that is in it.\u00a0 God is great.\u00a0 And yet, in all His greatness, He never imposes Himself or His power on anyone.\u00a0 He waits to be invited to exercise His might on our behalf.\u00a0 The Great Creator of you and me and everything we have and are waits on us to initiate the actions required to release His greatness on our behalf.<\/p>\n<p>The Psalms say it all when the author, whether it be David or Asaph or another author of the Psalms praises the Mighty God.<\/p>\n<p>Psalms 19:1; 24:1,2; 21:13;145:8,9<\/p>\n<p>The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows and proclaims His handiwork.<\/p>\n<p>The earth is the Lord\u2019s and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it.\u00a0 For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the currents and the rivers.<\/p>\n<p>Be exalted, LORD, in Your strength; we will sing and praise Your power.<\/p>\n<p>The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness.\u00a0 The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created].<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hallowed Be Thy Name, Part 1 We will spend quite a bit of time on God\u2019s names, because they reveal His nature, the essence of His being.\u00a0 As we study each name, pray and receive the benefits of that name for yourself.
