Our Father Who Art In Heaven.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the next several months we are going to talk about the Lord\u2019s prayer and look at each part of it.<\/p>\n

When we pray, generally we begin with a time of fellowship with the Lord, honoring Him and adoring Him and worshipping Him because we love Him so much and we are resting in His love for us.\u00a0 It is a time of coming away from the many demands of the world and spending time in peace and tranquility.\u00a0 It is a time to enjoy the Lord God\u2019s Presence.<\/p>\n

When we are born again, we are born from the sperm of God the Father\u2019s Word, just as surely as Jesus the Word of God was placed in the womb of Mary and became flesh and dwelt among us.<\/p>\n

1 Peter 1:23<\/p>\n

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.<\/p>\n

James 1:17,18, KJV and Amplified Bible<\/p>\n

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.<\/p>\n

Of His own will He gave us birth as sons by [His] Word of Truth, so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures [a sample of what He created to be consecrated to Himself].<\/p>\n

Luke 1:35,37,38, KJV and Amplified Bible<\/p>\n

\u2026The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you:\u00a0 therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.<\/p>\n

For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.<\/p>\n

Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said\u2026.<\/p>\n

We are born of God.\u00a0 That is why we use the phrase, \u201cborn again.\u201d\u00a0 We are literally being born again, not of fleshly birth which gave us a human body to live on this earth.\u00a0 We are being born of the spirit of God, with His Spirit and ours joining together as one.\u00a0 We are one.\u00a0 His spiritual DNA is inside us.\u00a0 His nature is inside us.<\/p>\n

Just as we have an earthly father, we also have a spiritual father, Father God, the Great Almighty God.\u00a0 Wow!\u00a0 Have you ever really thought about that?\u00a0 He is our Father.\u00a0 He chose us to be His own.\u00a0 We didn\u2019t choose Him originally.\u00a0 Of course, we make a choice for Him when we accept Jesus as our Savior and receive what He has done for us to become children of God.\u00a0 But the initiation of our being God\u2019s children was exercised first on His part.\u00a0 We were in His heart before the foundation of the earth.\u00a0 What a God!<\/p>\n

Ephesians 1:4, KJV and Amplified Bible<\/p>\n

God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy or consecrated and set apart for Him and without blame before Him in love.\u00a0 He planned in love for us to be adopted as His very own children through Jesus Christ in accordance with the purpose of His will\u2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
