{"id":2620,"date":"2013-03-17T01:00:31","date_gmt":"2013-03-17T05:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/?p=2620"},"modified":"2013-03-01T01:40:34","modified_gmt":"2013-03-01T06:40:34","slug":"healing-teaching-03-17-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/2013\/03\/17\/healing-teaching-03-17-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Healing Teaching 03-17-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>God of Mercy and Compassion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many Christians believe God can heal them but will He?\u00a0 They don\u2019t have faith in His mercy and compassion for them.\u00a0 The missing link for people who do not receive is that they don\u2019t believe God loves them.\u00a0 This is such a simple statement, but I am realizing more and more that most of God\u2019s children don\u2019t really believe He loves them.\u00a0 If we truly believed He loved us, then we would not have difficulty receiving from Him.\u00a0 Today I challenge you to start saying to yourself:\u00a0 My Dear Heavenly Father loves me and Jesus loves me.\u00a0 Keep on saying it until you actually believe it (this may take some time, like weeks or months) but start now.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus was and is the expression of God\u2019s mercy and compassion.\u00a0 The compassionate love of Jesus is the reason for healing.\u00a0 Without love, there is no healing.\u00a0 Healing starts with love.<\/p>\n<p>God is merciful, gracious, longsuffering (slow to anger), abundant in goodness and truth, full of compassion, of great mercy (Exodus 34:5,6 and Psalm 145:8).<\/p>\n<p>What is God\u2019s compassion?\u00a0 To love tenderly, to show mercy, to be full of eager yearning, an inward moving for the suffering of others.\u00a0 What is God\u2019s mercy?\u00a0 Compassion so great that one does not punish even when justice demands it but is willing to spare and forgive and help one needing punishment.<\/p>\n<p>Because of God\u2019s great compassion, His heart yearns to take care of us.\u00a0 So why, you ask, isn\u2019t everybody healed?\u00a0 It is the same question as why isn\u2019t everyone saved?\u00a0 God has bound Himself to His covenant, to His Word, to what He set up originally concerning man on this earth and the authority He gave Him.\u00a0 Man has been designed to take authority over satan and rule this earth according to God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 God\u2019s Word says that all those who believe and act on faith in Him and His Word will receive.\u00a0 That is the way we receive everything.<\/p>\n<p>You may also ask:\u00a0 Well what about the gifts of healings and the working of miracles?\u00a0 I don\u2019t want to wait on the gifts to operate through someone while my body is getting sicker and sicker and there is no help from the doctors who have done everything they can.<\/p>\n<p>Depend on God\u2019s mercy and compassion toward you, which produces healing in your body.\u00a0 See His love extending toward you, penetrating every fiber of your being with healing and health and wholeness.\u00a0 God\u2019s mercy endures forever;
