{"id":2329,"date":"2013-02-24T01:00:01","date_gmt":"2013-02-24T06:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/?p=2329"},"modified":"2013-02-13T22:56:12","modified_gmt":"2013-02-14T03:56:12","slug":"pearls-of-wisdom-02-24-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/2013\/02\/24\/pearls-of-wisdom-02-24-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Pearls of Wisdom 02-24-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Why Do You Seek Me?\u00a0 Rejoice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Lord has asked me this question.\u00a0 Why do you seek Me?\u00a0 I really had to do an evaluation of that question and what my answer to it would be.\u00a0 To be quite honest with you, I had to adjust my life.\u00a0 I saw that I was seeking Him as a supplier of my needs rather than as a friend Whom I loved and wanted to spend time with.\u00a0 Yes, it is true that He does supply our needs.\u00a0 Yes, it is true that He will give us the abundant life.\u00a0 Yes, it is true that He wants to give us prosperity in every area of our lives.\u00a0 But this one thing I know, and I have realigned myself accordingly with this knowledge:\u00a0 I am to seek Him because I love Him and want to be with Him.\u00a0 Out of His presence will come the supply.\u00a0 He is the supplier.<\/p>\n<p>God desires friendship and fellowship.\u00a0 He is our Heavenly Father.\u00a0 He created us to be His children and to enjoy our relationship as Father and child.\u00a0 Jesus told us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things would be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).\u00a0 He also told us to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength.\u00a0 Out of this love relationship comes all that fulfills us and supplies our needs.\u00a0 As a friend of mine says:\u00a0 \u201cIt is a given.\u201d\u00a0 In case you don\u2019t know what that means, it means:\u00a0 It is a done deal.\u00a0 It is a finished work.\u00a0 \u201cAnd my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus\u201d (Philippians 4:19, Amplified Bible).<\/p>\n<p>Every day now I seek Him first and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit as I pray and ask according to His direction.\u00a0 What a divine plan and what a divine relationship.\u00a0 It is a joy to be with Him.\u00a0 That leads me to the second thing that is strong in my heart.<\/p>\n<p>Rejoice in the Lord always;
