Believe You Receive<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Mark 11 which we noted yesterday, Jesus made some very bold statements in verses 22-24 regarding prayer.\u00a0 This passage is the golden passage for all people of faith and prayer.\u00a0 Those who practice this passage, who are doers of this Word, get results in their lives.<\/p>\n

Mark 11:22-24<\/p>\n

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.<\/p>\n

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.<\/p>\n

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.<\/p>\n

This is Jesus talking.\u00a0 He is telling us what to do.\u00a0 It is a command.<\/p>\n

HAVE FAITH IN GOD!\u00a0 If He tells me to have faith in God, my response should be:\u00a0 Yes, I have faith in God.\u00a0 I am going to add here that it does not make any difference whether you \u201cfeel\u201d like you have faith in God or not.\u00a0 He said it.\u00a0 I believe it.\u00a0 With this decision in mind, let\u2019s go to the next verse, believing that we have faith in God.\u00a0 Believe it for yourself right now.\u00a0 Are you ready for the next verse?<\/p>\n

Jesus says:\u00a0 Speak to the mountain, be removed and be cast into the sea.\u00a0 Don\u2019t doubt in your heart.\u00a0 Believe those things you say come to pass.\u00a0 You shall have whatever you say.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s break this down in terms of prayer.\u00a0 Speak to the problem.\u00a0 This is what you say:\u00a0 \u201cBe removed and be gone (something in the sea indicates gone, can\u2019t be seen or detected anymore).\u00a0 I have the ability to believe.\u00a0 I have the ability not to doubt.\u00a0 Therefore, these things I say come to pass.\u00a0 I have what I say.\u201d\u00a0 Yes, this is direct and to the point.\u00a0 You do what He says, and you have what He says.<\/p>\n

Jesus caps this passage off in the next verse by saying:\u00a0 Therefore, I am going to put into practice what I just told you and SAY to you:\u00a0 \u201cWhatever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive it and you will have it.\u201d\u00a0 Once again, He is very direct and to the point.\u00a0 What do you desire?\u00a0 Pray.\u00a0 When you pray (right then), believe you receive it.\u00a0 Then you will have it.<\/p>\n

I can hear lots of you right now saying:\u00a0 That\u2019s easy for you to say.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t work for me.\u00a0 Well, it just did.\u00a0 You said it doesn\u2019t work, and it doesn\u2019t.\u00a0 I also have to practice this in the face of many contradictory circumstances.\u00a0 Sometimes those circumstances seem overwhelming and the answers to prayer seem lost in the distance somewhere.\u00a0 What both of us have to remember is that circumstances do not have the final word.\u00a0 God does.\u00a0 He says that we will receive what we believe and say when we pray.\u00a0 Period!\u00a0 End of paragraph!\u00a0 End of discussion! \u00a0WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?\u00a0 Are you willing to stand for it, regardless of the time it takes for you to receive it?\u00a0 I must remind you that God has already given it to you.\u00a0 The time frame involves your believing and receiving it.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t back down, you will get it.\u00a0 God is no respecter of persons.\u00a0 If it worked for one person, it has to work for all people.<\/p>\n

JUST HOW IMPORTANT IS PRAYER!\u00a0 IT IS AS IMPORTANT AS THE AIR WE BREATHE.<\/p>\n

STAY THE COURSE!\u00a0 STAND STEADFAST WHEN TIMES ARE EASY OR TOUGH!\u00a0 TRUST GOD!\u00a0 HE IS YOUR SOURCE AND EVERLASTING PLACE OF REFUGE AND STRENGTH!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
