God Is My Rock, Part 5<\/b><\/p>\n
As we continue with our study on God as our Rock, let\u2019s remember that He is our refuge and shelter at all times, not just when we need Him. \u00a0He is always with us, ever watching over us and our loved ones. \u00a0He\u2019s our protection. \u00a0There is only one thing that will stop that protection—-us. \u00a0If we don\u2019t believe He is our protection and refuge, if we doubt that He is our shelter, then our doubt and our fear and our unbelief stop Him. \u00a0He has given us the power of choice. \u00a0Every day we make choices concerning our relationship with our God. \u00a0Sometimes the choices are made in the face of what seems like impossible situations. \u00a0Nevertheless, we make the choice to believe our God.<\/p>\n
Psalm 61:1-6<\/p>\n
\u2026Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.<\/p>\n
For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me \u2013 a strong tower from the enemy.<\/p>\n
I will dwell in Your tabernacle forever \u2013 let me find refuge and trust in the shelter of Your wings.<\/p>\n
For You, O God, have heard my vows \u2013 You have given me the heritage of those who fear, revere and honor Your name.<\/p>\n
May You prolong the true king\u2019s life \u2013 adding days upon days \u2013 and may his years be to the last generation of this world and the generation of the world to come.<\/p>\n
