God Is My Rock, Part 3<\/b><\/p>\n
Our Father, Our God, Jesus the Word, is our place of security. \u00a0He is solid and secure. \u00a0When we stand on Him, all around us may be shaking but He is stable, dependable, always there, ever present to take care of us. \u00a0In the times in which we are living, He alone is immovable and steadfast. \u00a0When we place our complete trust in Him, then we become immovable and steadfast when all around us is sinking sand and trouble and destruction.<\/p>\n

As for God,\u00a0His way is perfect\u00a0(entire, full, complete, whole, sound, undefiled, without blemish or spot) \u2013 the word of the Lord is tried (refined) \u2013 He is a buckler (shield) to all those who trust and take refuge in Him.<\/p>\n
For Who is God, but the Lord?<\/p>\n
And Who is a Rock (Mighty One), except our God?<\/p>\n
He is my strength (fortified place, defense, rock, stronghold, fortress) and power (my Fortress, force) \u2013\u00a0He makes my way perfect\u00a0(sets me free).<\/p>\n
He makes my feet like hinds\u2019 feet (firm, able) \u2013 He sets me secure and confident upon the heights.<\/p>\n
He trains (teaches) my hands for war\u2026.<\/p>\n
You have also given me the shield of Your salvation \u2013 and Your gentleness has made me great (increased, enlarged, excel, grow, nourish, plenty, abundance, multiplied).<\/p>\n
What promises we have here in this scripture passage! \u00a0Our God is a shield for us against the troubles sent against us. \u00a0He is our fortress and stronghold. \u00a0He sets us securely above the problems and gives us confidence that in Him we are overcomers. \u00a0He causes us to increase and grow and be nourished with abundance in the middle of the storm. \u00a0That is reason to rejoice and praise Him for Who He is in our lives. \u00a0Praise Him! \u00a0Rejoice in His goodness! \u00a0Trust Him!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
