PEACE AND AUTHORITY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark 4:39<\/strong><\/p>\n

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. \u00a0And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.<\/p>\n

Last week\u2019s teaching leads into this week\u2019s teaching.\u00a0 There is an authority that the children of God carry, which is felt by those around them.\u00a0 That authority is demonstrated in their peace.<\/p>\n

There is absolutely nothing that can shake God\u2019s peace, when we finally get an understanding of what we carry.\u00a0 We are carriers of God\u2019s peace.\u00a0 He lives in us.\u00a0 The Prince of Peace lives in us.\u00a0 What we have to do is allow Him to be the One in charge when stuff begins to break down around us and bring panic and fear.<\/p>\n

We must refuse panic.\u00a0 We must refuse fear.\u00a0 We must refuse the dictation of turmoil and stress in our lives.\u00a0 No one said it is a cake walk to refuse these things of the world.\u00a0 If it were, everyone would be doing it.\u00a0 No, it takes a determination and courage to stand up in the face of contradictory circumstances and say:\u00a0 No you don\u2019t!\u00a0 You are not determining my life!\u00a0 You are not going to dictate the outcome of this circumstance!\u00a0 The Lord Jesus Christ is in charge of my life, and no one else has that authority or right.\u00a0 Now, leave me, in the name of Jesus!<\/p>\n

Jesus told us when He left this earth that He was giving us His authority.\u00a0 I often thought what a risk God took in releasing the power of His authority to us as His children.\u00a0 Wow!\u00a0 He must have some confidence in us.\u00a0 Well, don\u2019t you think it is about time we have some confidence in His authority in us.\u00a0 Let\u2019s do something with what He has given to us.<\/p>\n

As carriers of God\u2019s authority we speak and it is done.\u00a0 Yes, it is that simple.\u00a0 You\u2019re saying it doesn\u2019t happen when you speak!\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 I\u2019ll tell you why.\u00a0 I have had the same challenge.\u00a0 When I speak God\u2019s Word in the face of circumstances telling me the opposite, I don\u2019t see anything change, week after week, month after month.\u00a0 What is going on here?\u00a0 There is an enemy, satan, who is attempting to convince us that we are weak little nothings who have no power and no authority.\u00a0 He tells us:\u00a0 \u201cOh, yes, those preachers tell you that you do have all of this and all of that, but look at the reality of your life.\u00a0 Does your life demonstrate power and authority results?\u201d\u00a0 Of course, you agree with him and say, no.\u00a0 Here is where it gets interesting.\u00a0 Turn the tables on him.\u00a0 Stand your ground.\u00a0 Don\u2019t give that lying devil one inch of ground.\u00a0 Tell him that you will stand until hell freezes over if that is what it takes.\u00a0 Of course, we all know that is not going to happen.<\/p>\n

This authority of God is yours, given to you by the Prince of Peace, the Prince of wholeness in your life.\u00a0 Today, make a quality decision that you are carrying God\u2019s authority in this world and you are going to walk in the results of that authority operating in your life of prayer.\u00a0 It is time to see the move of God in your life.\u00a0 Don\u2019t back down any more.\u00a0 What have you got to lose?\u00a0 You have already lost much.\u00a0 Stand in your authority and take back what has been stolen from you.\u00a0 It is time for restoration.\u00a0 Make this your year of restoration because you have been given the authority of the Prince of Peace to walk in the wholeness of God in every area of your life—-spirit, soul, body, socially, financially.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
