{"id":2002,"date":"2013-01-21T01:00:24","date_gmt":"2013-01-21T06:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/?p=2002"},"modified":"2013-01-21T01:06:50","modified_gmt":"2013-01-21T06:06:50","slug":"pearls-of-wisdom-01-21-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/21\/pearls-of-wisdom-01-21-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Pearls of Wisdom 01-21-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>AUTHORITY AND POWER, PART 5<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 John 3:8b, Amplified Bible and KJV<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2026For this purpose, reason, the Son of God was manifest, visible, that He might loosen, undo, dissolve, destroy the works of the devil.<\/p>\n<p>Over the next several days we will see what Jesus has done so that we can have authority on this earth over satan and all of His works.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s verse tells us that Jesus has destroyed the works of the devil.\u00a0 What are the works of the devil?\u00a0 Sickness and disease, want, lack, poverty, doubt, unbelief, defeat, failure, death are all works of the devil.\u00a0 They are designed to bring us down and divert us from God\u2019s best for us, which is health, prosperity in all areas of our lives, faith, victory, success, a sense of well-being (which is what shalom is).<\/p>\n<p>Think about it:\u00a0 Jesus came to this earth in order to take care of all the works of the devil.\u00a0 Did you hear that little word \u201cALL\u201d?\u00a0 Yes, He came for the purpose of destroying the works of the devil.\u00a0 That is the best news I have heard in my life.\u00a0 It\u2019s over.\u00a0 The battle has been won.\u00a0 The victory is ours.<\/p>\n<p>How does victory come?\u00a0 We personally stand our ground for what belongs to us and we do not let the thief come along and steal our goods.\u00a0 Say this after me:\u00a0 \u201cHealth is mine.\u00a0 Victory is mine.\u00a0 Success is mine.\u00a0 Prosperity is mine.\u00a0 All that God has is mine.\u00a0 I stand and receive it for myself.\u00a0 It is mine NOW!\u00a0 I have been given the authority to take all that is mine.\u00a0 God gave me His authority and His power.\u00a0 I am not a weakling.\u00a0 I am strong in the Lord.\u00a0 I draw my strength from Him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jesus is the Head.\u00a0 We are the Body of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>We and He work together.<\/p>\n<p>Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the devil.<\/p>\n<p>We have been given His authority to destroy the works of the devil also because, as He is, so are we in this world.\u00a0 He gave us His authority to take care of all the works of the devil in our lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AUTHORITY AND POWER, PART 5 1 John 3:8b, Amplified Bible and KJV \u2026For this purpose, reason, the Son of God was manifest, visible, that He might loosen, undo, dissolve, destroy the works of the devil.
