{"id":2000,"date":"2013-01-20T01:00:20","date_gmt":"2013-01-20T06:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/?p=2000"},"modified":"2013-01-20T01:02:52","modified_gmt":"2013-01-20T06:02:52","slug":"pearls-of-wisdom-01-20-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/20\/pearls-of-wisdom-01-20-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Pearls of Wisdom 01-20-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>AUTHORITY AND POWER, PART 4<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthew 28:18-20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,<\/p>\n<p>All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.<\/p>\n<p>Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:<\/p>\n<p>Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:\u00a0 and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.<\/p>\n<p>Amen.<\/p>\n<p>In verse 18 the word for power here is authority.<\/p>\n<p>Why did Jesus tell us to go, therefore, right after He said that all authority has been given to Him in heaven and earth?\u00a0 Jesus, with His power and authority, is in us.\u00a0 Therefore, His authority is in us to use as He instructs and guides us by the direction of the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 Jesus is assuring us here as God\u2019s children that we have the backing of His authority in all that we do for Him.<\/p>\n<p>Wherever we go, when we are obeying the Lord, and when we are doing His Kingdom business, going about our daily lives, He is there with His authority, which He has given to us, to use against the devil\u2019s kingdom.\u00a0 We are the ones who are the conquerors and the ones with the authority.\u00a0 For thousands of years, the devil has been bluffing God\u2019s people, telling them lies about their effectiveness.\u00a0 It is time that we rise up to the fullness of the stature of the Lord Jesus Christ Who is in us and declare our freedom and our ability to overcome all the works of the enemy.<\/p>\n<p>We are not to be cowering in some corner somewhere just waiting for the Lord to come back.\u00a0 He is not coming back for a weak, passive bunch of cowards.\u00a0 He is coming back for a victorious, overcoming church, one whose power and authority is made known to the kingdom of darkness.\u00a0 We are the light of the world and the salt of the earth.\u00a0 That\u2019s who we are!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AUTHORITY AND POWER, PART 4 Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
