{"id":1973,"date":"2013-01-07T01:00:26","date_gmt":"2013-01-07T06:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/?p=1973"},"modified":"2013-01-07T01:16:54","modified_gmt":"2013-01-07T06:16:54","slug":"pearls-of-wisdom-01-07-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.kspministries.org\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/07\/pearls-of-wisdom-01-07-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Pearls of Wisdom 01-07-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>SET APART FOR GOD<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hebrews 3:1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am consecrated and set apart for God.<\/p>\n<p>I am a partaker of the heavenly calling.<\/p>\n<p>I thoughtfully and attentively consider, contemplate Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of my profession or confession.\u00a0 I have confessed Him as mine.<\/p>\n<p>You and I are set apart for God.\u00a0 He has a purpose for each of us.\u00a0 We are to partake of that purpose or calling.\u00a0 What I find interesting here in this verse is that as we are considering that calling, we are to pay attention to Jesus, Who is the Apostle (sent One) and High Priest (One Who carries the sacrifice or offering of our confession into the Father).<\/p>\n<p>That word \u201cprofession\u201d here in this passage of scripture is the word homologia which means covenant; acknowledge; speak the same as; agreement; speak agreeable to; consent to; to say the same thing; give thanks.<\/p>\n<p>As we speak in agreement with God (the Word, He is the Word.), He, the Word, sets us apart unto Himself and causes us to partake in our calling.\u00a0 It is He Who does it and not we ourselves.\u00a0 All we do is agree with Him.\u00a0 We agree with His Word.\u00a0 There is power in agreement.\u00a0 When we agree with God, we are agreeing with power Himself.\u00a0 When we say the same thing as He says, we are releasing His ability in our lives.\u00a0 We are releasing His Kingdom into our lives.\u00a0 We are releasing His power on our behalf.<\/p>\n<p>Giving thanks is one of the highest form of agreement.\u00a0 When we thank someone for something, we are accepting what they have given to us.\u00a0 When we give thanks to God, we are agreeing with Him and telling Him that we acknowledge what He has given to us.\u00a0 Let me say it again:\u00a0 There is power in agreement.\u00a0 But even more dynamic is this sentence:\u00a0 There is unlimited power in agreement with God.\u00a0 It\u2019s time to release His power in our lives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SET APART FOR GOD Hebrews 3:1 I am consecrated and set apart for God.
