GOD HAS A PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n

God has a purpose and a plan for your life.\u00a0 He placed that purpose in you when you were born into this earth.\u00a0 God\u2019s DNA chip of His destiny and purpose for you is built into you; it is a part of your being.\u00a0 Here\u2019s the good news:\u00a0 He also made provision for all that you will need to fulfill that purpose.<\/p>\n

Perhaps you think you have gotten off course and need a course correction.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit of God is there to put you back on course.\u00a0 It is so simple that sometimes we miss it.\u00a0 God is so easy to walk with.\u00a0 His love is so great and intense for you and me that He is always ready to come to our aid.\u00a0 Why is that?\u00a0 He wants His plan to be fulfilled in your life.\u00a0 That is the place of your greatest joy and peace.\u00a0 There is no greater joy than to be right in the middle of God\u2019s perfect will.\u00a0 Is that possible?\u00a0 Of course it is.\u00a0 All we have to do is say:\u00a0 I am yielded to you God.\u00a0 Tell me what to say.\u00a0 Tell me what to do.\u00a0 Show me where to go to do it.\u00a0 I will obey.\u00a0 Yielding and obedience is the key.\u00a0 What a wonderful God we serve!\u00a0 What a Father we have!\u00a0 He waits for our obedience!<\/p>\n

Hebrews 13:20,21 Amplified Bible<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament), strengthen, (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ (the Messiah); to Whom be the glory forever and ever (to the ages of ages).\u00a0 Amen (so be it).<\/p>\n

This scripture passage settles it for me every time.\u00a0 God is the Author of peace (shalom: wholeness, soundness).\u00a0 He is the Giver of peace.\u00a0 He is the one with resurrection power to bring His life (zoe) into you and me.\u00a0 That resurrection life raises every dead thing in your life.\u00a0 And you know what the wonderful part of that scenario is?\u00a0 He gives us that power to do what He has called us to do.\u00a0 He equips us with everything good (that\u2019s all of Him) to carry out His will.\u00a0 He is the One Who accomplishes it.\u00a0 We are along for the ride.<\/p>\n

God is in the driver\u2019s seat and we are the passenger.\u00a0 There\u2019s only one problem with that scenario.\u00a0 I imagine you can guess what that is—-we like to drive, even though we don\u2019t know the way.\u00a0 We like to do it ourselves.\u00a0 Rest is a word we must learn to employ in our lives.\u00a0 Rest means sitting down in the accomplished work of Jesus and following directions.\u00a0 Rest means allowing God to take care of things for us; in other words, let Him do the driving.\u00a0 We are to rest in His finished work.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s all make the decision today and every day to rest in God\u2019s purpose and plan for our lives and to let Him direct the operations.\u00a0 He is the Chief of Operations!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
