HAPPY NEW YEAR!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

PREPARE THE WAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a new year.\u00a0 How is this year going to be different for you than last year?\u00a0 Have you written down your dreams and desires for this new year?\u00a0 What is it you want to see happen in this year for you and your family?\u00a0 What are you plans to make it happen?\u00a0 Do you have any plans, or are you going to live from day to day like you perhaps did last year?\u00a0 What are your goals?\u00a0 What are your dreams?\u00a0 What are your desires?\u00a0 Why aren\u2019t you pursuing them?<\/p>\n

What is holding you back?\u00a0 Are you afraid?\u00a0 Are you afraid it won\u2019t happen?\u00a0 Are you afraid to step out of your comfort zone?<\/p>\n

How about making this the year you begin to move out in the things you desire to do?\u00a0 What are your excuses?\u00a0 You\u2019re too old?\u00a0 You don\u2019t have any money?\u00a0 You don\u2019t have any education?\u00a0 You are too busy?\u00a0 You\u2019re a young parent with no space for your dreams?\u00a0 You know something—-we all have excuses. \u00a0They all seem valid to us, but are they?<\/p>\n

I once heard someone say that if you are afraid you won\u2019t accomplish anything and make no goals, you will have done zero at the end of the year.\u00a0 But what if you made goals and only accomplished one of them.\u00a0 That is better than zero.\u00a0 Words for you to ponder at the beginning of this new year.<\/p>\n

Words we speak go forth before us and create the pathway for our future, create what we will be walking in, later in life.\u00a0 In due time, those words which were sent on out ahead of us will do everything they can do to produce what we have said.\u00a0 God created us human beings with our mouth and tongue being the main vehicle for our lives.\u00a0 Don\u2019t you find that very interesting?\u00a0 No other creature produces by their words.\u00a0 We have the ability to form words and those words in turn form the life that we live.<\/p>\n

We will walk into the words we have put out in front of us, whether those words are good or bad, positive or negative, God\u2019s word or man\u2019s words about us.\u00a0 These words will produce substance.\u00a0 That substance will eventually become reality in our lives, if we speak those words long enough.<\/p>\n

We are told in God\u2019s Word that He has set before us life and death, blessing and cursing; choose life! (Deuteronomy 30:19<\/strong>)\u00a0 His Word is life. (Proverbs 4:22<\/strong>)\u00a0 That is to be our choice —- the life of His Word.\u00a0 His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path —- pathway, future, life.\u00a0 (Psalm 119:105<\/strong>) God gave us His Word so that we would have the good life, the abundant life that He promised.\u00a0 (John 10:10<\/strong>)\u00a0 He sent His Word to deliver us from destruction.\u00a0 (Psalm 107:20<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

In the way of righteousness is life and in its pathway there is no death.\u00a0 (Proverbs 12:28<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

God and His Word are life to us, and that is what we want going before us to make our pathway one of the good life of God.<\/p>\n

Ephesians 2:10, Amplified Bible<\/strong><\/p>\n

For we are God\u2019s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us, [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
