(<strong>Proverbs 28:20<\/strong>)<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Matthew 25:14-30,<\/strong> The Parable of the Talents, Jesus talks about a faithful person.<\/p>\n<p>In a number of scripture passages, God is spoken of as a faithful God.<\/p>\n<p>What is faithful?\u00a0 What does it mean?\u00a0 How does God look at faithfulness?<\/p>\n<p>A faithful person is one who is true to his word and follows through on what he says.\u00a0 He consistently does what is right.\u00a0 He can be depended upon to get the job done when he is assigned a task.\u00a0 You can depend on that person when you need something accomplished.\u00a0 You can walk away and know that when you come back tomorrow or whenever the deadline is, the work will be completed with excellence and without complaint.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s world faithfulness is a trait that not everybody sees as important.\u00a0 The thinking goes like this:\u00a0 \u201cOh, well, if I can\u2019t get it done, I can\u2019t get it done.\u00a0 What\u2019s the big deal!\u00a0 I have so many other things to do.\u00a0 They will understand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Apparently God thinks it is a big deal.\u00a0 In the Parable of the Talents, Jesus commended the person who did something with what he had been given.\u00a0 In Proverbs we read that a faithful man shall abound (that means overflow) with blessings.\u00a0 I want to be blessed so I ask God to keep me faithful every day to Him and to others.<\/p>\n<p>If you have challenges in being faithful, ask the Holy Spirit to help you to become that person who can be depended upon.\u00a0 He will help you.\u00a0 He always helps us to do whatever we need to do.\u00a0 Ask Him.\u00a0 Ask for God\u2019s grace or ability to become a faithful person.<\/p>\n<p>God\u2019s faithfulness will make you faithful.\u00a0 Look at <strong>1 Thessalonians 5:24<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Faithful is He Who is calling you to Himself and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it, fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you.<\/p>\n<p>Look at that.\u00a0 God is faithful to you.\u00a0 You can trust Him.\u00a0 He will fulfill His call on your life.\u00a0 I know He will help you to be faithful.\u00a0 You can depend on Him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAITHFUL A faithful man shall abound with blessings\u2026.
