GOD\u2019S VIEW OF ME<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Today, we are going to make Psalm 139:1-18, 22-24<\/strong> from the New Living Translation<\/strong> our prayer and confession.\u00a0 What a beautiful Psalm which shows the Lord\u2019s love for us whom He created.<\/p>\n

O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.<\/p>\n

You know when I sit down or stand up.<\/p>\n

You know my every thought when far away.<\/p>\n

You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest.<\/p>\n

Every moment you know where I am.<\/p>\n

You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD.<\/p>\n

You both precede and follow me.<\/p>\n

You place your hand of blessing on my head.<\/p>\n

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to know.<\/p>\n

I can never escape from your spirit!<\/p>\n

I can never get away from your presence!<\/p>\n

If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there.<\/p>\n

If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.<\/p>\n

I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—-but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.<\/p>\n

To you the night shines as bright as day.\u00a0 Darkness and light are both alike to you.<\/p>\n

You made the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother\u2019s womb.<\/p>\n

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!<\/p>\n

Your workmanship is marvelous—-and how well I know it.<\/p>\n

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.<\/p>\n

You saw me before I was born.<\/p>\n

Every day of my life was recorded in your book.<\/p>\n

Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.<\/p>\n

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God!<\/p>\n

They are innumerable!<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand.<\/p>\n

And when I wake up in the morning, you are still with me!<\/p>\n

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts.<\/p>\n

Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.\u201d<\/p>\n

How beautiful you are in God\u2019s eyes!\u00a0 Take a few moments today to ponder His workmanship in you.\u00a0 He makes all things perfect!\u00a0 Yes, it is through Him that we are perfect and wonderfully made!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
