REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Galatians 3:13,14<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:\u00a0 for it is written, Cursed is<\/em> every one that hangs on a tree:\u00a0 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.<\/p>\n

Christ is not Jesus\u2019 last name.\u00a0 it is the Greek word for Anointed One.\u00a0 The Anointed One (God Almighty in the person of Jesus, with the anointing of His Holy Spirit, through the Father) has redeemed you and me.\u00a0 What does it mean to be redeemed?\u00a0 When someone is redeemed, they are bought back from captivity or bondage.\u00a0 An individual is holding them as hostage and demanding a ransom for their freedom.\u00a0 Satan was holding every human being hostage to his sin and death.\u00a0 Jesus came with a ransom price for our freedom—-His precious blood.\u00a0 He paid the full price to set us free.\u00a0 Now satan has no legal right to hold us hostage because we have been redeemed, set free.<\/p>\n

The Anointed One has set us free from the curse of the law.\u00a0 The curse of the law and the blessings are set forth in Deuteronomy 28.\u00a0 We can read what the curse is in that chapter.\u00a0 The curse is sin and its consequences such as sickness and disease and poverty.\u00a0 We see the blessings in the first verses of Deuteronomy 28.\u00a0 We are blessed everywhere we go.\u00a0 God commands the blessing on us and our storehouse.\u00a0 Our enemies flee before us.\u00a0 Our children are blessed.<\/p>\n

The word \u201cblessed\u201d holds so many meanings.\u00a0 It basically and simply means God\u2019s fullness of Himself poured out on us—-all that He is and all that He has.\u00a0 That is it \u201cin a nutshell\u201d as my grandmother used to say of something which was all\u00a0 inclusive.<\/p>\n

We are blessed.\u00a0 We have access to all that God has for us, through faith.\u00a0 Faith, that word that so many people have trouble with.\u00a0 Once again, the simple definition of faith is:\u00a0 having confidence in God, trusting Him.<\/p>\n

I AM REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW THAT THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM MIGHT COME ON ME!<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
