God Stays With Me<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the settled truths we must embrace is that God never leaves us or abandons us.\u00a0 We may abandon Him, but He never leaves us.\u00a0 In good times and in bad times, He is still there.\u00a0 We might not think He is there because we go on feelings.\u00a0 How many times have we said:\u00a0 I don\u2019t feel like God is with me or helping me one bit.\u00a0 Feelings have nothing to do with God\u2019s decision to be with you the rest of your life.\u00a0 He has made that decision.\u00a0 You cannot change His mind.\u00a0 I don\u2019t care what you do to hurt Him and rant and rave at Him.\u00a0 He is still there when you finish.\u00a0 You can\u2019t get rid of Him.\u00a0 Oh, He will stand back when you tell Him you don\u2019t want any more to do with Him, because He is a gentleman.\u00a0 He won\u2019t impose Himself on you.\u00a0 He simply waits for you.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t He something!\u00a0 What a God we have!<\/p>\n

Hebrews 13:5b,6 in the Amplified Bible have been my companion verses in many troubled times and are with me wherever I go.\u00a0 They are very comforting.\u00a0 Listen to them.<\/p>\n

\u2026for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor<\/em> give you up nor<\/em> leave you without support.\u00a0 [I will] not, [I will]not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor<\/em> forsake nor<\/em> let [you] down (relax My hold on you)!\u00a0 [Assuredly not!]\u00a0 So we take comfort and<\/em> are encouraged and<\/em> confidently and<\/em> boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified].\u00a0 What can man do to me?<\/p>\n

Perhaps you have just been given a bad diagnosis by the doctor or have come through a difficult surgery or have had a long-term illness, which doesn\u2019t seem to be getting any better.\u00a0 Maybe you have prayed and others have prayed and there doesn\u2019t seem to be any results.\u00a0 We all have been there.<\/p>\n

What is God telling us here in these two verses?\u00a0 I am there with you and will not forsake you or leave you helpless.\u00a0 If you feel helpless, come to Me.\u00a0 I am your Helper.\u00a0 Do not fear!\u00a0 Do not dread!\u00a0 Do not be terrified!\u00a0 Trust me!\u00a0 I will not fail you.<\/p>\n

Perhaps you have been disappointed and you have felt like God has failed you because things are getting worse.\u00a0 All of us have been there or are there right now.\u00a0 With all the physical conditions which have come against my body, I have learned this one thing:\u00a0 TRUST GOD!\u00a0 When I don\u2019t know what is holding up my healing, I trust God.\u00a0 When I feel like I am getting worse, I trust God.\u00a0 When it looks like all hope is gone, I trust God.\u00a0 He is our Source of healing.\u00a0 He is our Healer.\u00a0 He is for us and not against us.<\/p>\n

Keep leaning on the LORD.\u00a0 Stay focused on His love for you and His desire for your healing more than you desire it.\u00a0 When you are in severe pain, focus on His love and care for you.\u00a0 All the time, focus on His love for you without question.<\/p>\n

Say this with me:\u00a0 My God loves me and is my Healer.\u00a0 He never leaves me helpless.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
