The Name of The Father, The Name of Jesus<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We are continuing on our teaching of the Lord\u2019s prayer by an in-depth teaching on each of the names of Jehovah.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s start with Elohim.\u00a0 He is our Creator, our Sustainer, our mighty God that we worship.\u00a0 He is the mighty One.<\/p>\n

God created you in His image and likeness.\u00a0 You are exactly like Him.\u00a0 You are a duplicate of Him.\u00a0 Originally, in the Garden of Eden, as we see in Genesis 1 though 3, God breathed Himself into Adam and Adam became a living being exactly like God.\u00a0 Unfortunately, Adam and his wife Eve were tempted to do what God told them not to do and they lost their ability to be like God.\u00a0 I think what is so awesome about God is that He had a plan for His beloved man to once again be like Him.\u00a0 That plan provided His only Son to take our place and suffer for us and become like us in order that we may become like Him.\u00a0 When Jesus went to the cross, died in our place, became sin and sickness for us and took it to hell and left it there and rose victorious, Jesus got our identity back.\u00a0 Once again, we can be like God, His child, with His nature.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t that awesome!<\/p>\n

Elohim created you and sustains you in His might and power.<\/p>\n

He is El Shaddai, the God Who is all sufficient, the God who is more than enough, the God of plenty, the abundant God.\u00a0 When Jesus came to this earth, he said that He had come that we might have life, have it in abundance, to the full until it overflows (John 10:10).\u00a0 What a God we serve!\u00a0 He does not know the word \u201clack.\u201d\u00a0 All He knows is abundance.<\/p>\n

What is abundance?\u00a0 It is having more than enough to meet your needs, so that you can give to others and make their lives ones of abundance.\u00a0 God\u2019s greatest pleasure is to see you walking in abundance so that you can bless others as He has blessed you.\u00a0 He is not stingy and He is not poor.\u00a0 He offers you the riches of heaven.\u00a0 They are available for you any time you want them.\u00a0 They are yours, not to consume on your own lusts, but to bless others.\u00a0 The interesting part of this whole scene is that you cannot outgive God.\u00a0 The more you give, the more He gives.\u00a0 What a cycle of blessing.<\/p>\n

He is Adonai, the Lord, your Master, your Bread Provider, the Lord your Ruler.<\/p>\n

You know, it is one thing to accept Jesus as your Savior.\u00a0 It is quite another thing to make Him Lord.\u00a0 When He is Lord, He is in charge of your life.\u00a0 When and where He says give, you obey.\u00a0 Whatever He says to say and do, you say and do.\u00a0 The most blessed life is one in which Jesus is Lord of your life.\u00a0 It is a life free from fears and worries because you know He is in charge.\u00a0 When something happens in your life, you give it all over to Him to handle because He has become the One in charge.<\/p>\n

This week, as you pray, elevate the Father and Jesus as your Lord and Master of every situation, as the great and mighty God of abundance in every situation.\u00a0 On purpose, make a decision to see Him that way.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
