Prayer—-
-what a privilege, to participate in the highest form of communication known on earth—talking with the One Who made this whole earth and created us out of the dust of the earth, breathing the very presence of His being into us.
In the Bible we see that we have not because we ask not. We also see that we can be confident that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. Then, if we know that He hears us, we know that we possess what we asked of Him. And what is His will? His Word!
Jesus told us in Mark 11 that faith in God is believing that when we pray, we receive the things we desire. What is He saying here? He is saying that when you pray, by faith, believe that God has granted your desire (as long as it is in line with the Word of God); hold fast to His Word of promise; and you shall have that for which you prayed.
The key here is to be consistent with the words you speak from that moment on in your normal, 24-hour life. Keep your words lined up with your prayer. What is it you need today in your life or that of your loved ones or friends? Our prayer team would consider it a privilege to pray in agreement with you for your request.
