Prayer Requests

Prayer-----what a privilege, to participate in the highest form of communication known on earth---talking with the One Who made this whole earth and created us out of the dust of the earth, breathing the very presence of His being into us.   

In the Bible we see that we have not because we ask not.  We also see that we can be confident that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  Then, if we know that He hears us, we know that we possess what we asked of Him.  And what is His will?  His Word! 

Jesus told us in Mark 11 that faith in God is believing that when we pray, we receive the things we desire.  What is He saying here?  He is saying that when you pray, by faith, believe that God has granted your desire (as long as it is in line with the Word of God); hold fast to His Word of promise; and you shall have that for which you prayed. 

The key here is to be consistent with the words you speak from that moment on in your normal, 24-hour life.  Keep your words lined up with your prayer.  You cannot pray one thing and then walk away saying the opposite the rest of the time.  

Faith is unwavering and unchangeable, always agreeing with what God’s Word says, regardless of the natural circumstances after you pray.  It is God’s responsibility to fulfill His Word.  It is your responsibility to agree with His Word, in spite of what you may feel or see.  His Word will not return to Him void or empty, without producing any effect.  His Word will work in your life.
